We studied The Truth Project by Focus on the Family this past Summer. This was an in-depth study on the world around us, and provided the answer to why we view the world through a Christian lens. We strengthened our witness to the world, as we built up a Christian worldview, and we discovered a reason to believe the Truth.
The main challenge we faced was being able to see two very different and opposing worldviews: one where God exists and is the author of reality, the other where God does not exist and all reality is a lie. As we explored various topics like man, God and science we began to see a philosophy take hold of our hearts that revealed the deep longing of every man. That is to see the face of God, which can only be seen in humble obedience to the Lord, Jesus Christ. The philosophy of man leads one down a road of humanistic endeavors that end in a lie, while the philosophy of the Lord leads to everlasting life.
What are you searching for? Where are you looking for the answers? Seek the face of God, seek the word of God and there you will find his abiding Spirit, his steadfast love, his message of hope. There you will find the truth.
